Jingzhou, known as Jiangling China tour deals, is situated in the Jianghan Plain. In ancient times, Jingzhou was the center of one state among the nine states in China. There were originally six city gates around the wall including the Eastern Gate, Little Eastern Gate, Northern Gate, Little Northern Gate, Western Gate and Southern Gate. Each of the gates had a tower. Between the gates, there is a space area, called “Urn city”, to catch the enemies inside. The best place to appreciate the ancient city wall is the Eastern Gate and the Northern Gate. Both of the gates have ladders for tourists to climb onto the towers to appreciate the magnificent panoramic of this beautiful city.
